Matt Laslo from Ask a Pol interviews Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) about AARO’s newest report, and their duties.
From the interview:
“People always want to immediately default to, y’know, aliens, extraterrestrial, but the fact of the matter is if there are things flying overhead in our country that aren’t supposed to be there and they aren’t ours, that should be among our highest priorities.”
Rubio said this about AARO:
“Everyone’s interested in the look-back and all those other things. But the most important thing is determining a process for reporting unidentified aircraft, primarily for purposes of preventing strategic surprise.”
