The year was 1956 when professor João Freitas Guimarães was visiting the city of São Sebastião (SP) on work. It was on a nighttime walk on the beach that he saw a very large, spherical object submerge from the water from which two men emerged. They were tall, with fair skin and eyes. They wore a kind of green jumpsuit that narrowed at the neck, wrists and ankles.
