What is actually going on with AARO

I think people miss the true purpose of AARO and the proposed and passed legislation.

Congress needs a body they control (AARO) to act as their extension in this exchange with private and DoD controlled programs that possess the exotic craft and biologicals.

Let’s say that Grusch told the committees that there is a craft in this Lockheed facility, and Congress believes him.

First order of business is to have an organization in place that can receive the craft and take over study of it. That’s why they created AARO and why they had to separate it from the Pentagon. That’s why they have been fighting to fully fund it. Its why it was moved to the DNI’s office and why its being headed by the deputy director now. Now that they have completed those tasks and have an organization to manage a new program, they introduced two approaches to actually acquire the craft.

The first is to offer amnesty for turning over the craft to AARO. Lots of people seem to miss how the government actually works. Congress doesn’t have an army or a security force that can go in and take the craft by force. Their power is in creating laws and then utilizing the justice department in enforcing them. This is going to be their last resort. They will try and compel the private corps and the DoD that is involved to cooperate by throwing them a bone, they won’t go after anyone if they give up the goods voluntarily.

The second is to make a law that allows AARO to seize the craft. This is included in Schumers legislation under eminent domain. This is not the route that congress wants to go. The first is the carrot, the second is the stick. The other part of the stick is the threat to funding that is also included. They are trying to get the Lockheeds of the world to turn over the craft because it will be in the interest to do so above and beyond any potential value keeping it may have.

Some people noticed that AARO’s scope on their website was considerably more involved than their publicly perceived role, and this is because they are planning to acquire a great deal of material they will begin to study and attempt to exploit. This isn’t about studying random sightings. It’s about creating an organization outside of the DoD and private contractors that can facilitate an above board crash retrieval reverse engineering and study program, under the control of congress. It’s going to be the official US government UFO program office, probably just as secretive, but under the control of Congress, not illegal, and no longer a potential political liability.
