Over the last 2 years, I went from a hard core skeptic to a believer in the phenomenon. I dove all in into reading up the history and key events associated with UFOs. The thing I can’t wrap my head around is that UFOs disclosure seems to always been a thing that’s almost always been close but just out of reach. Granted it was before my time, but I feel that the late 70s early 80s (Dr Hynek’ participation + Hollywood’ focus {close encounters} + credible MASS sighting events {Michigan UFOs, Japan airline’s incident}) were the closest we ever got to or will ever get to disclosure in terms of how widely UFOs were accepted as part of the zeitgeist.
Yet, I keep reading that disclosure this time around is the key. I think we collectively had a moment in the 70s and 80s to bring UFOs into the mainstream but missed our chance. What is your take? Does anyone think disclosure this time around is the real deal or just government trying to buy time till the current craze dies down
