What we are.

I was thinking along the lines of the theories how we may be in a sort of zoo, prison planet, etc.

What if we are an asset or an investment? We grow and develop, but we are some other entity’s or species’ asset that can be bartered, liquidated, conquered or acquired. This idea was like a light bulb for me and I don’t recall seeing this line of thought here.
