There are countless speculations as to why most governments are choosing to not disclose their full knowledge of UAP, NHI, and the like. We have disclosure here and there, but it’s always limited and typically generates more questions than answers.
Of all the speculations, the one I believe is the most like is this:
Once a government admits the existence of UAP, NHI, and the like then the public moves to the 2nd level of questions…
“How long have you been studying these?” “What have you learned so far?” “Which part of government studies these?” “Where do you study these?” “How do you study these?” Etc.
Most governments are not prepared and/or knowledgeable enough to confidently answer these questions yet, but some are starting to thankfully. Answering these though brings us to the 3rd level of questions…
“Are we safe?” “Are they hostile?” “Can we defend ourselves?” “What are their intentions?” “Where do they come from?” “What do they look like?” “Have you communicated with them?” Etc.
No government is prepared and/or knowledgeable enough to answer these questions confidently. They would give blanket statements like…
“That’s classified for national security” “There is nothing to me immediately concerned about” “We only know what we’ve already told you” “We’re doing our best to answer this” Etc.
Governments DO NOT want the 3rd level questions yet which is why even in the case of the USA Gov they are still only barely answering level 1 let alone level 2 questions.
TL;DR: Governments don’t wants questions yet that they don’t have confident answers to because truthfully answering those questions now may cause mass public panic and distrust in their government.
