site of Vallée’s supposed Trinity crash: found?

D. Douglas Johnson has definitively proven this case to be a hoax in his series “Crash Story: The Trinity UFO Crash Hoax”

We are told the vague location of the supposed crash site and given clues to its location in the text of Trinity and another interview reported by James Clarkson.

“Jose: The tower was on a BLM map. The one who made the map, at BLM, is the one that gave me that letter for a permit to go in there. Paola: But the tower isn’t there anymore, so how did she put that in there? Jose: It was there. She put everything that… I can’t remember her name, she’s retired already. She’s the one that wrote that, all the map, and then I added all the little things in there, like Diamond-A Ranch and the windmill, and Walnut Grove.” James Clarkson reports additional details “He recalled that the actual crash site is at the same location where a water cattle tank is located. The witness told him that the tank was installed as a way to cover the crash site. He interviewed the witness and he said he has a video from that interview. The cattle tank was put in there after the Forties; late 50’s, probably not long after the War.”

These are my results from using google earth to track down the potential location of the Trinity crash. Images of possible “crash site” here. https://imgur.com/a/Dd8bnr8
