Should we pause the woo and focus on the nuts-and-bolts to make the subject more appealing/credible to outsiders?


You have for example stories about people working in nuclear missile silos, then a ufo comes along and suddenly they are out of their bodies and paranormal stuff starts happening.

Then there is the often heard “stop with this woo nonsense, its the reason people don’t take ufology seriously”.

Should we follow that advice? Maybe try to not talk about the woo part for the next year?

Edit: to clarify, its not my opinion. Just asking because i regularly this said in comments
