Memories of The Paracast

About circa 15 years ago The Paracast radio show (with Gene Steinberg, and cohost David Biedny and then Christopher Obrien) was the radio show you got your UFO news and interviews. This was before podcasts exploded (like Rogan Experience). The Paracast interviewed the UFO people that were at the frontline of the topic at the time. All the big names, and pretty consistently. They also seemed to be purveyors in a bit of drama too, which was always a little fun to watch (eg. Michael Horn, for those who remember, lol). Then something happened and they seemed to become irrelevant. After being a longtime listener, I stopped listening to them years ago.

From what I can see, for the last few years, The Paracast haven’t really been speaking to the people at the head of the new UAP whistleblower/disclosure wave. To be honest, when I recently googled them, I was surprised to see that Gene (and the show) were still alive. Gene must be in his 80s now!?

Do other long-timers in this topic remember The Paracast, and know what happened to them? Am I mistaken by the drop in quality? Are they still worth listening to? I suspect that the proliferation of podcasting maybe was the nail in their coffin? Any other thoughts?

Thinking about this radio show (the other ones would have been Coast to Coast) brought up some memories of the old days when the idea of having this topic discussed in congress would have been genuinely laughed at. My times have changed, but also not changed in some ways.
