if I understsnd rightly, members of the US Congress have various levels of security clearance that gives them access to classified information.
Hence, when Grusch said that he would becwilling to share more in a SCIF, that discussion would be restricted to congress members with x level clearance.
What about voting?
If a military/defence bill is put forward, does the whole house vote, or just those with clearance? If the former, doesnt this mean that Congress doesnt always vote according to having the right knowledge,?
