There’s so much confusion, deliberate or otherwise, in the topic, from sightings of still anomalous phenomena, to regular misidentification of the normal, whether planets, planes, meteors or secret military technology.
We know that many UFO sightings of the 40s and 50s onwards were sightings of military activity, from balloons, to aircraft, and furthermore that the CIA and other agents actively spread misinformation among UFO researchers (and indeed paid some to do that). No doubt partly motivated by the desire to have people assuming black project technology was extra-terrestrial.
Which all brings us back to the present day, Grusch, and the narrative that elements in the defence community are doing their darnedest to conceal very credible evidence from Grusch which would seem to point to the reality of NHI and their craft, reverse engineering, etc.
If this is all real and ‘above top secret’, and jealously guarded as alleged to the point of harming or killing potential threats to the security of this knowledge, then what on earth could have been the motivation for the CIA/OSI, etc for pushing the ‘military hiding alien craft’ narrative in the first place? Would seem dangerously near leading people to the truth. Unless those pushing that didn’t know any real truth about retrievals and reverse engineering. Or the whole thing is just a cover anyway?
