Honestly I think there’s quite a lot of material there movie makers r missing out on. There’s literally thousands of stories to draw from, already there.
Now you could do a multitude of different things with a movie regarding abductions. There’s a new horror movie that’s come out called “No one will save you.” It’s very much a horror movie and appears to just insert aliens in the place of “monsters.” (I only watched the trailer.” That’s not my choice.
There’s of course “Fire in the sky”, which admittedly I haven’t seen. I’m new to the subject and there’s so much to see. There’s close encounters which I also haven’t seen.
What I think would be absolutely awesome though would be a well-done, no-holds-bar movie or even series about a really detailed abduction case showing someone being taken on a ship etc. There was that awesome Jim sparks interview on here a couple weeks ago. So detailed. So specific and so much remembered, and durational, unlike a lot of other stories I’ve heard. And he worked with them and interacted with them extensively. How fucking cool would that be as a well-done movie! Obviously someone would have to consent to their story being used, and that’s a big ask. But moviemakers could also draw upon the thousands of accounts and create a very interesting original story.
I think something durational, where it happens multiple times, and they’re actually on the craft, and have some comprehension and memory, that grows, and the aliens have an overarching agenda—literally Jim spark’s story—would be an incredible movie, enjoyed by a lot.
Opposed to something like Calvin Parker or Stefan Michalak which were both a one and done.
But you could make an entire genre on this. It could be anything ranging from horror to docudrama, to drama, to sci-fi.
