UFO disclosure process didnt start in the government without any ulterior interests converging, that’s a fact.

The US military industrial complex is if not the largest and most powerful groups currently operating in the US and Western aligned States.

As in all capitalist interest groups, they fight other capitalist interest groups for power and market control and as in all capitalist interest groups, they aren’t united.

Lets drop ethics for a minute and pretend we are penny hoarding capitalists.

Assume you are an Aerospace and or Weapons Company who owns Alien tech, secrecy is beginning to bite in your money supply, PMCs are expensive, funding separate compartmentalized projects who contain massive redundancies are expensive and of course maintaining secret off world colonies is expensive. And there is a massive civilian market waiting to be created the moment government reduces secrecy, why? Space ships and free energy, replicators would of course have high demand.

Wouldnt you support disclosure?

I mean it leads to the highest profits and is a potential gold rush waiting to happen.

And as a side effect all major primary energy and secondary industries and the oil industry would get fucked(with some exceptions of course) , increasing your relative and absolute market share and thus power and leverage.

Also it’s a PR coup of the century, for a company to support disclosure would almost surely lead to (very) good PR.

Would we as penny hoarding weapons sellers have the means to lobby for disclosure in secret?

Of course. We are talking about multi trillion dollar industries here.

Would have the motives?

Yes as explained earlier.

Would we have a opening to do it?

Off course, the defense industries have the most leverage by far in politics.
