Reasons for lack of real leaks?

I’m not saying there haven’t been any leaks, I’m referring more to undeniable, 4k video, bodies with dna sequencing, tour of a space ship etc. You know what I mean – the real deal. Presidents and Religious leaders all over the world start making speeches and it’s headline news indefinitely. That kinda of leak. If there is truth to any of it there would be things that could be leaked to prove it for sure.

This makes me wonder. What if it’s more of a “good” reason rather than a greedy/ self serving one. I would imagine someone would risk ‘martyring’ themselves to get the proof out there, even if it meant huge consequences to themselves. One of the only reason I can think of (besides there is nothing to leak) is they aren’t doing it for the benefit of humanity – like they know it’s better for everyone to keep it secret for whatever reason(s).

An example would be the development of the first nuclear bomb. If it were going to be used to destroy all of humanity someone would have risked leaking about the program. They didn’t cause they realized it was best to keep secret so the “enemy” didn’t learn about it. You know what I mean? Not sweating the historic details but let’s just assume that it was kept secret for altruistic – good reasons.

Do you guys (and girls, aliens, whoever) think the lack of leaks could be because of that? If so what could those reasons potentially be and how could they be solved?

Think about it, the person responsible for “the leak” responsible for enlightening humanity would go down in history as a saint of sorts. However, conversely, the person responsible for the same leak that results in disaster would go down in history as the opposite.

Am I missing something obvious? What do you think?
