More recoveries, more sightings?

I remember Lue or another generally respected source mentioning that the US military has a device similar to the ‘ghostbuster’ (which downs drones) and that this similar device might be able to take down UAP ‘like a brick’.

Has it been discussed whether taking down UAP may be a reason that we are potentially seeing more sightings? For example, UAP may be feeling animosity for fellow “pilots” being basically shot down and recovered.
