I identified the object. I went back today to the same exact spot where I had spotted it last night (after all, I do cardio at that park regularly just usually not at night.) to see if I could spot the object again. Upon my arrival, my buddy that I was with yesterday was already parked and told me over the phone the object was still there. Tonight was a lot more clear than last night. When we both really paid attention to it, we noticed there was like a string or a rope trailing it. I told him to get in my car because I wanted to see how close I could get and maybe hopefully get under it. To my very unfortunate surprise, the object was A LOT closer and A LOT lower than both me and my friend had originally thought. Due to the size of the object and the very slight cloud coverage there was last night; it created the illusion that the object was a lot farther and a lot higher than it actually was. It would have been way more exciting imo had it been anything one of us on my original posts speculated it to be. Sadly it wasn’t any of that. Not a drone, not a light, not a laser, weather balloon, satellite, nor any of that. It pains me to say this, but it’s a kite that is caught or tethered to one of the trees in the park and I guess the conditions have just been right for it to gain any lift these past two nights. This explains how it was able to be up there for such a long time, over an hour and a half. It also looks like it’s glowing because it appears to be made of some kind of reflective material and all it’s doing is bouncing any ambient light in the area off of it.

This is the first of the two videos I shot. The reason I posted the second one first was due to it being long and what seemed like more movement from the object. This video is also sharper than the first one I posted, but unfortunately, it’s shorter. I did not see the post in filming too much longer because not much was changing and as I mentioned before, I never saw it fly away. It was there for well over an hour and a half.

I have no idea what it is. At first I thought it might be a drone. Then I thought it could be a spot light, but I could see a beam of light from time to time reflecting off the clouds as though that thing had head lights. It moved really oddly and it suck around a while; never saw it fly off into the distance or anything. You guys be the judge. I recorded two videos but Reddit only lets me post one at a time. 🤷♂️
Location: Miami Florida in the southeastern end of Tropical Park. (That’s where o was standing at the time of the recording)
