Weird sound on Terceira Island, Azores, Portugal. I can’t figure it out.

I really need help figuring out what this is.

I’ve been a musician / audio engineer my entire life, ive seen as many dark things on ogerish that any other 90s kid would’ve experienced…

I’ve done extensive research, ran the audio through chat GPT 4.0.

There is no definitive conclusion of what this sound is coming from. The reason I started recording is because it sounded like a literal demon from hell was dying.

This was recorded on Terceira Island, Azores, Portugal. If you don’t know these are volcanic islands located literally in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

Recorded at around 10/11 at night, from inside. It sounds maybe like a bird the bird would have to be GIGANTIC for it to make something that loud. I can’t figure it out. It’s obviously something with a big chest cavity to make sounds like I was hearing. Like I said it sounded like a literal demon pterodactyl or Godzilla type creature dying.

It happened on a farm that backs on to a forest so there wasn’t anyone around with giant speakers to pull some kind of prank. Let me know what you think. I’ve done extensive research myself and can’t figure it out.
