In 2021-2023, ufological icon Jacques Vallee carried the Trinity 1945 alien-crash story to a big international audience. Recently Vallee made some concessions to my investigative reporting on the story, but at the same time he doubled down on the core claims. Yet the evidence continues to grow that the entire tale is a shoddy construction of lies that Vallee credulously placed his weight on, and it is collapsing under his feet.
