Needing some discussion and analysis on this one. 1915~ UFO/UAP

So I was reading this book about military-related stuff written in mid-WW1 (1915-1916) when I came across this when the author reported about an aerial invasion of some sort. Honestly, I wouldn’t be posting it here, since in 1914 you had several bombings like that. If wasn’t for the last words in the paragraph.

“Suddenly and mysteriously the monstrous silver cylinder shot up into the heavens to be seen no more.”

As well as the:

“Suddenly athwart the night sky, a flashing meteor circled and burst with a sharp crack.”

Of course, I would dismiss it as some bombing but the object came relatively close and had several anti-aircraft guns shooting up at it, having no effect before it “shot up into the heavens to be seen no more.” as well, the possibility of a “foo fighter” being correlated to the “meteor” that circled the object. As we the cylindrical shape and silver/metallic tone.

It reminded me of the Los Angeles UFO incident.
