I have been following the recent philosophical and religious explanations of the phenomenon as of late. Specifically Diana Walsh, Greer, Grusch, Gary Nolan etc…it seems the main people in the spot light get much of their jargon from, well, the ancients. Because the ancients had this all figured out…maybe.
As Diana Walsh Pasulka stated on Rogan, many of the new religions such as Christianity, Islam, Catholicism, Hinduism etc…(Yes, those are new religions in comparison to many) all have similar threads, those philosophies came from the ancients. In other words, no religion owns these ideas, phenomena or philosophies. They in fact share these concepts with each other. Yet, power hungry people want to lay claim to that which is neither here nor there.
I finished a BA in political science, minor in philosophy and my masters in policy/law. Reading many of these ufo stories is like rereading stuff I have read before. Many of the new ufo philosophies, almost word for word, come from oral accounts of indigenous cultures and they are even written in ancient texts by Zen masters, such as Joshua, Foyan or Huang Po. Written thousands of years before christs appropriation of Buddhism and Greek myth.
You can find word for word similarities, including being’s, inter dimensions, extra dimensions, phenomena, aliens, other worlds… it is almost as if these modern people are regurgitating ancient texts they read and taking credit.
This is a great place to start: https://sacred-texts.com/bud/zen/mumonkan.htm

Im sure we will continue to see, or hear, many more of these coincidences.
Peace! 🛸
