I’ve actually gone back and forth on whether to even initiate this discussion but ultimately landed on “good for the whole of humanity” justification.
On the JRE episode with Diana Walsh Pasulka she mentioned being blind folded and driven out to a crash site with Gary Nolan. She mentioned some clues as to the location and I feel like the collective power of Reddit can narrow this site down (Sorry Diana).
Clue #1 Remote site in New Mexico – mentioned being blindfolded and driven out to the site. I did not catch a mention of how long the drive was but if there has been work on this site for over 40 years then it must be secluded/remote to go unnoticed.
Clue #2 Site dates back 40+ years – perhaps there is some local lore to this. It was mentioned that it was not the Roswell crash but rather a separate incident (could potentially be misinformation to be fair)
Clue #3 Site was deliberately littered with aluminum cans to throw everyone off. – The mention of this means that it’s not an insignificant amount of debris. – Diana mentions that the rust from the cans altered the ground color.
Clue #4 There was an impact or noticeable depression in the terrain – Sat imagery would probably be useful here in conjunction with the above
Clue #5 The site was located in a no-fly zone – Aviation maps should help narrow this down
Clue #6 The comment about the site being included in the X-Files. – It was mentioned that Diana was asked if the site looked familiar and was told that it was featured in the X-Files. – No mention if it was in one of the movies or the original series vs the reboot. – I grew up watching the series but perhaps we have a super fan in the sub that can narrow down some scenes that fit the description.
I’m sure there are more nuggets in the conversation that I’m overlooking here. However I think we can collectively narrow this down pretty quickly. o7
