I remember reading recently that Sean Kirkpatrick worked for the NRO and already knew that David Grusch has recently. Thought it was finally time to do some digging. Going to try and not get too in the weeds about it, this will probably be its own book/doc someday. (Just kidding, this is already turning out to be long, haha. Time to start my fucking blog for real.)
First, we have to go back to the OG, the OSS. I believe it was in his interview with Joe Rogan (or maybe the one with Tucker Carlson) that Grusch mentions the 1933 Italy recovered craft case, the one he was openly permitted to talk about at the Senate hearing back in July. Quick tl;dr for anyone new to this, the story goes that a craft was discovered, I think perhaps in a field by farmers if I remember correctly, in Italy in 1933. Grusch stated in that interview that there weren’t any bodies inside, and that the OSS recovered the craft and somehow it got to the Vatican for safe keeping out of Mussolini’s hands. Then towards the end of WWII, the Vatican handed the craft over to the USS.
According to Wikipedia, “The Office of Strategic Services (OSS) was the intelligence agency of the United States during World War II. The OSS was formed as an agency of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS)[3] to coordinate espionage activities behind enemy lines for all branches of the United States Armed Forces. Other OSS functions included the use of propaganda, subversion, and post-war planning.
The OSS was dissolved a month after the end of the war. Intelligence tasks were shortly later resumed and carried over by its successors, the Department of State‘s Bureau of Intelligence and Research (INR) and the independent Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).”
As many of us here are already aware, the CIA, or Central Intelligence Agency, was one of a few military intelligence branches formed after the incident at Roswell. Nathan Twinning was a United States Air Force general.[1] He was the chief of Staff of the United States Air Force from 1953[2] until 1957, and the third chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 1957 to 1960. Twinning was one of the first on the scene at the crash at Roswell, and on September 18, 1947, the CIA becomes one of the first new intelligence agencies, basically taking the place of the OSS in international affairs. Five days later, on September 23, 1947, the Twinning Memo is published, stating that the UFO phenomenon is real. This is the same day the National Security Act of 1947 is implemented.
Fun fact–the introduction in that NSA document references a memo dated September 11, 1947 from the Director of Central Intelligence and a reply from the Secretary of State.
On December 15, 2016, right before Obama left office–

CIA’S ROLE IN THE NATIONAL RECONNAISSANCE PROGRAMS is uploaded via FOIA? Right off the bat it talks about the U-2 program that started in 1954 (right after the US was learning to reverse-engineer crash recoveries according to the Shellenberger document, which I wrote a long post about five whole days ago.) It also mentions the May 1, 1960 in which an American U2 spy place was shot down over the Soviet Union and its pilot captured, which cancelled the Paris Accords.

“The NRO was established on August 25, 1960, after management problems and insufficient progress with the USAF satellite reconnaissance program (see SAMOS) and MIDAS).[17]: 23 [18] The formation was based on a 25 August 1960 recommendation to President Dwight D. Eisenhower during a special National Security Council meeting, and the agency was to coordinate the USAF and CIA’s (and later the navy and NSA’s) reconnaissance activities.
The NRO’s first photo reconnaissance satellite program was the Corona program),[19]: 25–28 the existence of which was declassified February 24, 1995, and which existed from August 1960 to May 1972 (although the first test flight occurred on February 28, 1959).” The Corona program existed to spy on the Soviet Union.
Remember, Corona, NM was where the Roswell crash actually occurred.

From June 1998 through November 1999, Mellon served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Security and Information Operations.
