Book and Film Recommendations where the writers are influenced by modern ufology leaks and theories

I am looking for books and movies told in the traditional storytelling manner, not documentaries.

I love scifi but I struggle to think of any writers who are telling stories that have kept up with the info that is known or at least widely suspected about the phenomenona in the current day. The only ones I’ve found are the Sekret Machines books my Tom DeLonge.

I’m a big fan of hard scifi books like Project Hail Mary, Annhilation, The Culture series etc. Would love to find an author or film maker telling stories inspired by what has been coming out via the leaks and whistleblowing in the last 20 years.
