Submission statement: We bring back one of the most compelling close encounters with non-human entities.
I was inspired to post this encounter after arecent interview I watched with one of the direct family descendants. The video above is probably my favorite accounting.
Hopkinsville-Kelly was known as a result of its location, whereas Hopkinsville goblins emerged as mysterious, glowing-eyed humanoids who terrorized a remote farmstead in Kentucky after allegedly landing on a spaceship. The five adults and seven children fled to the local police station to report the encounter, and police and concerned citizens searched extensively for evidence.
I note the town to this day popularizes the event to attract tourism… but it’s still a compelling case. We’re talking about the 50s here, in rural Kentucky. Not something any family should see fit to embellish.
