Is the truth about the cover up just to hide a gigantic fuck up?

I’ve been mulling over the whole UFO cover-up theory and can’t help but wonder if it all boils down to a massive blunder they’re trying to hide. It seems to me that this could have started around Roswell, or perhaps even a bit before that. The narrative might have gone something like this: they stumble upon what they believe is future tech and immediately think, “We need to keep this under wraps to maintain an edge.” So, they hand it over to the military-industrial complex, which, fresh from World War II victories, feels invincible, capable of anything.

The assumption probably was, “Give us the tech, and we’ll deliver unparalleled weaponry.” But as billions poured into research with barely anything to show for it, they found themselves too deep in the lie to backtrack. The embarrassment of admitting to squandering such colossal amounts on virtually no substantial outcomes must have seemed too daunting. It’s as if they had no choice but to perpetuate the myth.

This theory, if true, would align with much of what I’ve observed about power dynamics and secrecy on our planet. The layers of secrecy, the unaccounted funds, the technological mirages—could it all just be a facade to cover up one of the biggest fumbles in history? I find this line of thinking not only plausible but also reflective of a broader pattern of behavior among those in positions of power. It’s a fascinating, albeit somewhat disillusioning, rabbit hole to go down.
