For Fun: Why Are “They” Here? What Are “They”?

Let us assume NHI exists, here on Earth, and is responsible for many of the UAP we see. This NHI can be extraterrestrial in origin, can be terrestrial, and need not be organic. Why are “they” here? What are “they”?

Let’s have fun with this post. We are only speculating, not debating, but I love speculation. I’d love to hear your best estimation of what’s going on here.

I’ll go. These are self-replicating, non-organic, AI machines sent to investigate the cosmos. The NHI that created them may no longer exist. What we are seeing is research being done on our solar system, on a greater scale, our galaxy, and on an even greater scale, the universe. We are most definitely not the only intelligent species in the cosmos observing this phenomenon, wondering, “What is that?” We are one species on one relatively small planet, not as special as we like to think.

To add, if the creator of these machines still exist, they communicate and command these machines via unknown psychics, possibly quantum in nature, or perhaps in a way we simply cannot comprehend, beyond our deepest knowledge of the Universe(s).
