Stanton Friedman

Stanton Friedman was always a beloved figure in the UFO community as he was one of the few credentialled people (physicist) who took an active interest in the UFO topic during a time when most people laughed at it. As someone who started following this topic a few decades ago, he was always someone who would appear on most shows and documentaries that covered the topic in the decades past and he has also done a lot of fascinating research on UFOs in general.

I remember that he passed away shortly before COVID, but he was alive at the time when the NYT article broke in Dec 2017. He was alive during the brief period after the release of the article and before the current shit storm that is brewing. I wanted to know if someone captured his thoughts on the Nimitz incident and what he thought about the NYT article in general. I’m sure he would have been fascinated by it as it marked the first time that certain factions within the US government began openly discussing the topic. I am curious to know if he shared any thoughts about current events in the UFO space (then) before he passed away. I don’t think there were many UFO podcasts around at that time and I’m not sure if he did any interviews with any of them.
