Looking again at Gillibrands Nevada Sojourn

Yesterday, Greenstreet posted that Sen. Gillibrand had posted a visit Nevada, with three particular visits noted:

NV Air Force Visit

Lockheed Martin Visit

Northrop Grumman Visit

In yesterday’s thread it was suggested that since the senator is on the Senate Armed Services Committee, it would not be out of order for her to make such a visit, even if it is outside her own state. Fair enough, and none should make a hasty UAP jump. Nevertheless, there are a few points to flag tht might help us have a better sense of her trip in light of her UAP involvement.

1) This trip was out of the ordinary for Gillibrand Sunshine Report History

I pointed out yesterday in the thread posted by Greenstreet that the Gillibrand’s sunshine report only has the following entries for Lockheed and Northrop:

2012 she had phone call with Bob Stevens, CEO (and chairman and president) of Lockheed 2011 she had a call with Northrop Grumman’s CEO in 2011 concerning NY jobs, 2010 she toured a Lockheed site in NY in 2010. 2009 she had a meeting with Jim Meltsner, then Vice President Legislative Affairs from Northrop Grumman.

On the other hand, understandably, the notable visits Gillibrand has made to Air Force bases are in New York, including Niagara and Schenectady.

2) The trip was not a photo op

Unlike her other senatorial visits to Air Force bases, this trip was not a ribbon cutting or public advocacy or campaign.

3) The trip was not a corporate meeting

The Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Facilities in Nevada are not corporate business or factory sites. Their facilities are attached to the Air Force Bases (Nellis), such as Nellis and the Nevada Test Site. Hence the interest seems to be in the contractor’s practical activities.

4) Her last UAP briefing

Gillibrand’s last classified UAP briefing was about the broader concern around UAP:

KG: “Umm. It wasn’t about UAP.”

ML: “Oh really, it wasn’t?”

Gillibrand shakes her head.

ML: “Typo.”

KG: “No. It was in the context of that, but it was not about that. It was about broader…”

Among the current known contexts of the UAP question is role played by contractors, including Lockheed and Northrop Grumman.

In sum, these are the pieces of the puzzle. It was a rather unusual visit with a couple of the usual suspects in a state notorious for its UAP connection, both Area 51 and Harry Reid. The possibility for overinterpretation is ripe, nevertheless, Gillibrand’s visit surely invites a stroking of the chin.

Can more pieces be brought together?
