At 9:07 p.m. I witnessed a trio of mobile “stars” cruising past Procyon, slowly, in a south easterly direction. They were evenly spaced in an equilateral triangle. The lowest point of light shone the brightest, quickly increasing in intensity over ~ 5 seconds, outshining Venus, then gradually fading along with the other two into obscurity – the same manner in which they appeared.
At their highest intensity, the two remaining lights were a little dimmer than Procyon.
I don’t remember clearly but I believe the three lights did not obscure the stars they passed over.”
The lights were visible for about 20 seconds total, and around that time, I observed at least two additional, but regular, satellites moving in the same direction at the same speed.
