Tuesday morning rant: Why I don’t believe in Dave Grusch

I don’t believe Grusch. I have two decades of experience in the military and IC, and his story doesn’t add up.

The biggest thing that doesn’t add up for me is this simple fact: He’s openly sharing government secrets without fear.

I was initially really excited about him. His resume is rock solid, he’s easily one of the most credible UAP voices to come out ever.

But it bothered me. How was he just openly sharing this, testifying before congress? What’s his story?

He allegedly still has a clearance.

You can’t be a whistleblower and keep your clearance.

This didn’t make sense to me. I started digging further.

He’s stated on a few occasions, for example during the closing remarks at SOL, that after all of this is over he intends to return to government work. You can’t return to government work if you’re a whistleblower. You can’t keep your clearance if you’re a whistleblower.

And he says he wants to return to government work. So he is no longer with the government? Your clearance doesn’t carry over if you no longer need it for the issuing agency. If he no longer works for the NGA, NRO, USAF, or whoever it is he worked for most recently, then he wouldn’t still have his clearance.

So he’s either lying and doesn’t still have a clearance, or he’s still actively employed by someone and has a clearance.

If the latter is true, then my question is, who is employing him? Whoever is employing him is okay with him speaking out about this, since if they weren’t his clearance would be pulled and he’d be charged with a handful of federal offenses. So, we can assume someone is employing him, and that they’re okay with him sharing these UAP secrets. Why? What’s their end game?

For him to share secrets, they need to be declassified for release. Who approved that? What review channels did it go through? This should all be accessible through FOIA requests. If it’s not, then it either means these things didn’t go through the declassification process, which means he’s openly sharing classified items, which would be a federal offense. But we know they mus have been declassified. Congress would never let someone publicly disclose classified information.

Or, wait, there’s another possibility. The information was never classified, so therefore it didn’t need to go through declassification. What does this suggest? This would suggest that it’s all fabricated. Grusch is sharing illegitimate information, claiming it was classified to bolster the story.

Why would he do this?

After considering the various possibilities around the above scenario, the most likely outcome boils down to the fact he’s a disinformation agent planted by the someone from within the government. A disinformation agent used to cloud the UAP discussion, if not entirely derail it.

And I think his background helps support that theory.

Grusch was hospitalized at least twice for substance abuse issues. Most people won’t keep their clearance if that happens (in fact, I’ve never personally seen someone keep their clearance after something like that). But he is one of the rare ones that apparently did.

If I’m the government and I’m looking for a disinformation agent, someone to derail the UAP/UFO conversation, someone like him is perfect. Almost makes me think of Peter Russo in house of cards. Dude down on his luck with substance abuse issues is willing to do whatever it takes to save his career. Plus, especially in today’s climate, people are very sympathetic to those with substance abuse issues, especially ones related to trauma, and it’s been well shared that Grusch suffers from PTSD. A war veteran with PTSD and substance abuse issues, but no history of violence crime, is a very easy person to be sympathetic to.

A perfect disinformation agent.

That’s what I think Grusch is. I think he’s a guy who was a minute away from ruining his career, but for whatever reason, they saved him and used him for this purpose.

Most people won’t recognize the little red flags that I see. So all they see is a decorated Air Force officer, war veteran, intelligence official, etc. They see that and it screams legitimacy.

But under the surface there’s some cracks, and I’ve you start to dig you find the stuff that I’m finding. If you simple start asking some questions, you’ll see the answers don’t always make sense, and as you start to peel away you find the deeper you get the dirtier it gets.

I’m not entirely disregarding him yet, of course, but I don’t trust him for the above reasons.
