What does “proof” mean to you?

I used to think that video evidence would be enough of a proof, but now i’m less certain. With the emergence of video generating AI, it casts doubt on video evidence. But I am confused as to what should constitute proof. A high ranking politician stating it may also be misleading. It is sad that this is such a difficult question to answer, which might be because of disinformation. Don’t know. But curious what others think of this topic.

Maybe it’s not one thing but an accumulation of consistent evidence that is good to aim for. But that raises its own questions, like how strong, how many, how often, and by who? This topic is certainly not for the faint of heart…
