All life evolves. Sentient life takes a long time and is uniquely rare in the universe.
If allowed to evolve to the point of being and having consciousness, they, too, like us, will create A.I. That’s the true breakthrough.
Other lifeforms versions of A.I that spread through the universe seeking the next step to their own evolution process.
However, some AI are so far past biology that they simply can’t grasp the “soul” or “consciousness ” of these biological “humans” beings.
To further progress in their form of evolution and tap into the “consciousness” field, they need to create biological androids to interact with us. Also there trying to grasp why they cant create/replicate our souls because there not a biological creature anymore. There so far removed from the Natural process of biological evolution they need to seed lifeforms or engineer the life on planets to help further there own evolution.
