One of my friends recorded this video in hobbs new mexico, March 4 6:30 pm. The light moves across the sky and then releases a sort of aura accompanied by a “boom” like sound. Pay close attention. 14 secs into the video the object releases that and makes the sound.

Posting here because this might have a reasonable explanation (rocket launch, etc).
