It talks about an alleged government program in which military personnel were sent on a ten year mission to an alien planet called serpo. The episode concluded that the story was part of a disinformation campaign involving Richard C. Doty. It got me thinking about the history and government investigations into UAP, and I can’t help but wonder if the phenomenon is just one big disinformation campaign designed to obscure classified earthly technologies from foreign adversaries such as Russia and China. Doty spread a lot of rumors that are still in circulation among UFO enthusiasts today. I hope this isn’t the case. What are your thoughts on this?
