Are there any careers related to the Phenomenon for the average person to dive into?

I have always had a connection to “the other side” since a child and it’s still as strong as an adult. I always wondered if there were careers associated with the research aspect. I know you can either become a journalist or go the psychological route and work with experiencers. But is there anything else? Any companies currently hiring to work with or for them in terms of the phenomenon? Sorry if this is the wrong sub but I figured we’re all in the “wanting to know” category here.
