The first occurrence I came across where “legacy” was used to refer to the crash retrieval program was during the first appearance of David Grusch in The Debrief and on NewsNation interview. Was this the origin of its use, or have other referred to it as “legacy” prior to Grusch going public?
Is “legacy” supposed to be interpreted as an adjective when used in this manner, or is it actually a code word for the program? In the Sol Foundations White paper written by Tim Gallaudet on page 7, he writes when talking about the terminology definitions within the Schumer amendment being written after “multiple meetings between senate staffers and former DOD and intelligence community personnel with knowledge of the executive branch’s alleged, decades old “legacy” UAP program10”. (Citation 10 to Nell’s presentation at Sol foundation).
The quotations around legacy in the white paper could possibly just be a reference to how others have previously coined it, including Nell, but it also makes me wonder if the program is actually called legacy. To my knowledge, no credible claims have come out to actually name the program, but there has to be a real name used to identify it. Could it be legacy?
