Sighting in Elkton MD. Just now.

I hope I’m not the only eyewitness.

I was parked in a shopping plaza right off of Route 40 in downtown Elkton, Maryland. I was just getting out of the car when I heard a low flying jet approaching overhead. I absent mindedly looked up to see a military fighter of some sort come from the north, it flew directly overhead going south. It appeared to be only about two hundred feet up.

That’s when I saw about ten or fifteen tic tac shapes fitting around in the sky at around five hundred feet altitude. I’d say the group of them were making strange maneuvers in an area that occupied about a fifth of the total sky relative to my point of view. At first I thought it was seagulls, with the sun hitting them at just the right angle to make them appear to be glowing white, very luminous. As I continued to look closer at the objects I realized that they were actually all an oblong tic tac shape. They moved almost like the floaty apparitions that you see in your eyes, that weird optical illusion, but if I focused on one it would sharpen into a perfect pill shape. They moved very fluidly, almost like amoeba in a petri dish. They moved extremely quickly and silently almost randomly, but seemed like they had an organic motion underlying their behavior, if that makes sense. Like I said, I thought it was a bunch of seagulls at first glance.

One by one, they started to seemingly vanish. I realized I had on polarized sunglasses and I reached up, pushed them onto my forehead, rubbed my eyes, and looked at them with my naked eyes. I was hoping to see them better

Without my sun glasses on, I could barely make them out. They were still present, but very faded looking. It’s then, about five seconds after first noticing them, they seemed to be getting fewer in numbers. I also put my sunglasses back on and could see them better again. They seemed like solid objects that would catch the light and reflect it depending on the angle they were oriented. They could’ve been lit up though, with a bright white light, because I had a hard time making them out without my sunglasses on. They are not prescription glasses, as I have perfect eyesight, just a little light sensitive, hence the sunglasses.

They went from being ten or fifteen to only five or six to two to one lone one I tracked for a few more seconds before it seemed to just fade away. I couldn’t tell you if they accelerated away quickly or just vanished.

The whole sighting lasted about twenty seconds.

I wish I had time to film them, but it only occurred to me to do so immediately after the last one flickered out.

The sighting was in broad daylight and I am sure of what I saw . I will admit I had recently smoked a little marijuana, but not much and I have a high tolerance.

The jet may have been doing surveillance on them or just be a random unrelated occurrence. I sat there a while afterwards and the jet did not return, however a passenger jet did go overhead slowly from the north to probably a southwestern direction.

This happened today in Elkton MD at around 4:58 pm EST.

I’m still so excited about it, I can’t believe it happened in front of my eyes in broad daylight.
