1940s Air Force pilots were gaslit by USAF psychologists

1940s Air Force pilots were gaslit by USAF psychologists as a security measure

I just learned of this. In 1940s US developed the first jet engines: planes without propellers. When being flown, the pilot wore a gorilla suit, derby hat, and smoked a cigar. This is not some harmless prank. The other pilots unaware of the new plane were told they saw nothing. Not talking about enemy pilots, but our own pilots. This is sick, but sounds very familiar. One of the oldest tricks in the book I guess.

This is a repeat posting bc it was deleted for some reason. This has to do with UFOs because of the absurdity of the phenomenon to the lay person and the current disbelief in the stories of our service members today. The pics r from articles from Medium, military.com, and Wikipedia
