Aussie here, been a UFO nut since I was a kid. Never figured I’d see anything as Australia is pretty chill.
Last night I arrived at a holiday location in Bendigo Victoria. Stargazing as usual I spotted something that just looked like a star maybe slightly brighter. Like a planet looks I guess.
Then it starts moving. Moved quite erratically back and fourth and in circular motions. Demanded my GF come out and watch it to ensure I wasn’t seeing things. She acknowledged it was moving and must be a plane. When you’ve looked at this stuff as long as me we know what planes look like with flashing lights etc. This was star like in the sky. Plus up there for for hours and hours so I feel it couldn’t have been a drone. Plus I’m in the sticks there’s nothing to look at 😂 be
It stayed in the sky all night. Every time I came to look again it would start moving. Not to another part of the sky or anything it was always in a similar spot. But definitely moving. Suddenly stopping and circling around .
Towards the end of the night it stopped moving. I instantly think I was seeing things the entire time. I’m so certain this thing was moving around.
Every time I’m outdoors at night I look up, I know the mind can play tricks and make it seem like something is moving. This isnt that. I also know what satellites look like as Im obsessed with spotting them and watching them move across the sky.
Also it it certainly wasn’t starlink 😂
I videos it. Due to iPhone it’s just black nothing. I’ll check when I get home to make sure.
As no one else reported it I instantly doubt myself and maybe I was seeing things. I’ve never thought a star to as moving before. Plus I was looking at other stars and they were all acting very normal 😂.
It was a memorable but confusing moment. I’m already a believer but now it just feels a bit different
