Hi, this is my very first post I did on Reddit… I always have been commenting on posts for years, but I never had a courage to make a post myself. Please forgive me for my English, since it is not my first language.
This story I am about to share really has been on my mind lately and it led me thinking maybe I should be open to your inputs on this story. For your information, I was a skeptic, but now I am believer due to excessive research into this matter. Even if I haven’t seen or witnessed them for myself.
Anyways, the reason I share this story now is because it is bothering me for not to share it here or on other subreddits. Since this subreddit is number one regarding this topic (ufo). I’m very curious for your thoughts and maybe hearing some similar stories to my mom and brother’s. I assure you it was true and no bulls***t. I have no place to tell you to believe my story, it is up to you to believe it or not.
It happened in 2013 during the summer at a campground in Prescott, AZ. My family and I went there for church retreat with our former church members. On our last night of the weekend, my dad and I was in our cabin getting ready for bed. My mom and brother walked to the cabin with my mom’s friend and her son from the center where people were at after a mini (non-alcoholic and drugs free) party.
Along the way, there are several large and tall lamp posts spread over the campground and we had one between the center and our cabin. The light from the post shined on the ground so brightly that we all usually can see mini shadows of bugs fluttering around and under the light.
That night was different, they didn’t any bugs under or anything except for a large shadow of a stingray shape without tail stay still for a while as if it was floating on the spot. My mom was frozen when she saw it and grabbed my brother by hand to stop him from walking toward. All four of them stopped after they saw the same thing. They were a few feet away from the edge of the light on the ground. That thing was on the opposite side of the edge as if it was staying close to the post. They said that as they watched it, it began to floating very slowly closer to them by floating around on the edge of the light on the ground. Strange thing was that it didn’t release any sound as drones should make whirring or motor sounds.
They said they were frozen because they afraid it would attack them if they panic or run from it. They also mentioned that they even tried to look at the thing that the light shadowed. It took them a while to realized that they were looking at an invisible drone or whatever small ufo it was under the light. It wasn’t a bug as they should have seen it visibly. Anyways, it was a minute later before the shadow shrunk its size slowly as if it floats upward to disappear above the light post.
As soon the shadow disappeared, they ran to the center instead of our cabin. They told that story to the church members in shocking reactions but the church laughed at them! It shocked my mother even more. After that night, my mom and brother believed my dad who already have believed in UFO for a long time before the rest of us did.
