Multiple officials at this point have made statements that the phenomenon is real and is so abundant that it is highly disruptive.

For instance, some skeptics may say that the “drone” sightings near military installations are just adversarial technology.

I find this theory incredibly naive. It would be a tremendous military risk from China/Russia’s perspective to send highly classified and highly advanced technology to spy on U.S. military installations. This gives the U.S an opportunity to either shoot down this technology or to otherwise gain valuable intel on it.
