The strange anomaly would have appeared near Antarctica and moved northward across the Atlantic Ocean. According to reports, it also generated 25-meter waves towards the coast of Africa and South America, covering 3,200 kilometers – an area larger than Texas – on April 10, in a trip that lasted around 24 hours before disappearing.
