Does this Debunk the Recent Blue Lights Video?

I recently put up a compilation video of strange blue lights in the sky. Although I wasn’t sold on the drone theory, u/Old_Games_Are_Better linked a second video of the guy filming by the river and it definitely looks like a kite is being flown. The lights are still visible, but are a considerable distance away from the kite being flown. I think that a strip of LED lights have been attached halfway up the kites main line and these lowered into the water when the kite flyer lost height and was trying to get it back up into the air?
