Experience that I never forgot

So many years ago when I was 10 or 11 I was sitting on our deck at the house I grew up in. This was in Johannesburg South Africa.

Anywho I often would chill on the recliner and star gaze.

One night I was alone on the deck and doing my usual star gazing when all of a sudden there was a very dull hum sound. Above me something black and huge slowly passed over. It almost looked the color of the night sky. It slowly started passing over head (stars where disappearing behind it.) when I freaked the fuck out, ran inside, went to my room and cried a little. Never told anyone because it was that freaking bizarre.

I can not find any rationale explanation. This thing felt like it could have been the size of a full neighborhood block.

Never gave aliens much thought before this experience but this certainly made me a believer.
