We saw this mysterious looking light in the night sky while camping in Joshua Tree – Indian Cove Campground (Site 80) this past Thursday (5/2/24). We were stargazing when this anomaly suddenly appeared. The campers next to us were out on Indian Cove trail and saw the same thing and got it on video too. Is it a satellite or falling debris? This video does not show how large and bright it was. Its movement was so irregular and then it just vanished. We’ve seen and heard a few planes/helicopters while there but this was completely silent.
