Ufo sighting near Canada USA border

Want to start off by saying that up until last night I didn’t think much of ufo’s at all. I was solo camping near the BC/Montana border having a campfire around 11:30 when I saw this little ball of light started moving around in strange patterns around the bridge I could see across the river valley(probably about 1-2km away). It was flying around in strange circular motions and could fly back and forth at unreasonably fast speeds and stop and turn around on a dime. Occasionally the light would change in-between different colours but it was mainly red. After about 20-30 minutes it disappeared and being a pretty reasonable thinker I wrote it off as being a drone or something similar that had been flying around. After about another 15 minutes went by it reappeared on top of a distant mountain ridge. Because of how far away and high it was I knew it couldn’t be a drone and it was again flying in weird circular motions but would also go 90° side to side as well as straight up and down, to me it really looked like this object was scanning the side of the mountain looking for something. I couldn’t take my eyes off it and was trying to think of a logical explanation but kept coming up empty. I took a few videos at this time which turned out to be pretty crappy since there was no moon light at the time but in the clips you can clearly make out a light moving around in the pitch black, changing colour’s and moving around with what appears to be a spotlight as it sometimes lights up the trees on the ridge or the clouds a bit. Over 20-30 mins It slowly faded away into the distance and I didn’t see it for another 10 minutes before it briefly reappeared one last time infront of the bridge again. It took a little messing around with my camera setting to try and capture it but I ended up with some decent 10 second long exposure shots so you can see where it was moving within thise 10 seconds. The first two photos were taken back to back when it was up on the ridge and the second two is when it was back in the valley close to the bridge. Im not one to get bothered very easily but It creeped me out enough that I almost drove home and decided to sleep in the locked car instead of my tent for the night. It would let me upload then but If people are interested I can try and share the videos as well!
