Description of sighting: I was outside working in the garden today and looked up and saw something I’ve never seen before and couldn’t identify. We live directly on a common flight path for passenger jets so we literally like a dozen fly over each day, so I’m extremely familiar with how high they fly, how fast they move and how loud they are. What I saw I immediately assumed was a bird, because it was all black and shaped like one, but I couldn’t understand how high up it was. I would guess it was at least 10,000 ft in the air. It went perfectly straight the entire time I could see it which was about 15-20 seconds and then disappeared into a large cloud. It made no sound that I could hear but any plane at that height would be very easy to hear
