UAP are NOT balloons according to official AARO mission statement

This official 2023 document entitled “The US Defense Dept and the UAP Mission” can be downloaded from the AARO website.

https://www.aaro.mil/Portals/136/PDFs/AARO%20Mission%20Brief_DOPSR%20Reviewed%2007-2023.pdf

Signed by Sean Nothing to see here Kirkpatrick, it nevertheless sets out AARO’s mission statement in terms of the study of strictly “anomalous” phenomena. And on the first page, on the very. first. line. it states

“UAP ≠ unattributed balloon activity; key emphases on “anomalous” factors”

It defines anomalous phenomena as sources of “anomalous detections” that are “not yet attributable to known actors”. OK, so that might mean that we just haven’t yet confirmed the Chinese origin of the drones. But wait, it then continues that UAP, by definition, are anomalous, meaning that they also “demonstrate behaviors that are not readily understood by sensors or observers”.

What would constitute such behaviour you might ask? The definition continues: ““Anomalous detections” include but are not limited to phenomena that demonstrate apparent capabilities or material that exceed known performance envelopes. “

So, according to AARO, UAP are not balloons. They display anomalous flight characteristics. They display flight characteristics beyond state-of-the-art human tech.

UAP sightings may “persist over an extended period of time”.

Oh.

And the report breezily discusses “the potentially ubiquitous presence of UAP”.

But of course, you’d be crazy to go mentioning the A word. This is just some beyond next gen Wakandan tech that defies our notion of physics, is a long-term presence in our skies, and we haven’t gotten around to attributing yet.

But, hey… something something little green men… conspiracy nuts influencing the debate… hearsay… no actual evidence… no clear photographs

Edit: spelling
