Submission stmt: House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Mike Turner (OH-10) hosted HPSCI members in Dayton for a two-day bipartisan retreat at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Chairman Turner was joined by Ranking Member Jim Himes (CT-04) and Representatives Brad Wenstrup (OH-02), Rick Crawford (AR-01), Darin LaHood (IL-16), French Hill (AR-02), Ami Bera (CA-06), Abigail Spanberger (VA-07), and Betty McCollum (MN-04). The purpose of the retreat was to meet with Avril Haines, Director of National Intelligence, William Burns, Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, Timothy Haugh, Director of the National Security Agency, Jeffrey Kruse, Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, Christopher Wray, Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and other senior leaders from the U.S. Intelligence Community to learn more about their efforts to safeguard the American people. h/t Christopher Sharp
