I’m really spooked by what I have seen and need assurance I guess

I’m really spooked by what I have seen.

I’m looking for someone to make me feel better and that I’m not losing my marbles. I’m sure this is the place.

I’ll skip the “I’m a skeptical person” yada yada, you guys know the thing.

On description it’s not that exciting. Basically, I work nights, remote location, QLD Australia. For the last two night shifts, between 3am and 4am just as Mars has risen and I low on the horizon I have seen lights within a few degrees of Mars which appear, move a few degrees left or right, then disappear.

The lights look like Mars, same colour but vary in brightness . Sometimes brightening considerably as they move.

For some reason I find this almost makes me feel sick to look at. Really quiet disturbing, although it is a gentle and silent phenomenon.

I feel I cannot film it. It is hard to describe but I get the feeling I can’t or shouldn’t. That sounds ridiculous.

I tried to get a colleague to see it too, so I would feel better, but it happened only as his back was turned, almost as if it is mocking me. I know how crazy that sounds.

The light that was moving towards Mars as I got my colleague’s attention reached mars before he could look again and replaced Mars in the sky. Mars dimmed to nothing as I watched and this moving light took its place. That was sort of a bit reality shattering for my tired, overworked brain to comprehend.

So I don’t know what to think or do. I am scared to see it again. Scared to be alone on my night shift (which I often am) and really quiet confused and worried about my sanity.

I’m a grown man, these are just little points of light moving in the sky. What is going on?
